How It Works
The program is built around the principle of progressive overload.
You start with material where the downstrokes are more spaced out, then gradually bring them closer together as you progress.
Each drill follows a clear structure:
After completing the full sequence, you’re done for the day.
The next day, you move on to the next drill.
As you progress, each drill requires you to pick faster for longer periods of time.
The goal is to first push your max speed, then build endurance at those higher speeds.
You start with material where the downstrokes are more spaced out, then gradually bring them closer together as you progress.
Each drill follows a clear structure:
- A one-bar starting riff introduces the idea
- You then play the full four-bar drill
- The drill is repeated:
- 2 times
- 3 times
- 4 times
After completing the full sequence, you’re done for the day.
The next day, you move on to the next drill.

The goal is to first push your max speed, then build endurance at those higher speeds.
