This was given to a student, who plays in D standard tuning, to help improve his alternate picking, as well as improving his finger dexterity. This drill goes up in four note groupings, which I like to call 4-Note Coils. This is good for those new to playing things like this on guitar, because of the half note break before you move up to the position in the second half.
