This was given to a student to help them gain more awareness of accidental upstrokes when they're supposed to be playing all downstrokes. All of the 8th notes are to be picked with downstrokes. The single beat of 16th notes changes each bar to help increase concentration of what's being played. If the rhythm was the same each bar, I feel there's a much bigger chance of going on auto-pilot and losing accuracy in what's being played. The count for this is 1-n-2-n-3-n-4ena 1-n-2-n-3ena4-n- 1-n-2ena3-n-4-n- 1ena2-n-3-n-4-n- CLICK HERE to Download the Guitar Pro file for this lesson.
